On January 24, 2025, The Colony High School’s JROTC Cougar Battalion program excelled in a Program of Accreditation. Out of 100, the battalion scored a 95.5, which earned them Honor Unit of Distinction, they are now cemented as one of the best units in the country. The battalion was led by cadet/LTC Jimmy Tang and cadet/major Sierra Boortz who, both demonstrated leadership skills.
