Last weekend, junior wrestler Yahiya Hussein-Said advanced past the regional round and qualified for the state tournament.
“It feels good achieving a goal and a dream. Hard work does pay off; if you can set your mind on your goals, you can accomplish anything.” Hussein-Said said. “But I’m not done yet, I got another year to make history.”
He will compete at the State Tournament Thursday in Houston.
